Production Machine Operator

Adecco is currently hiring a Production Machine Operator for a full-time opportunity in a manufacturing environment in Elora, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in machine operation, manufacturing, production, quality inspection, and industrial equipment operation.

• Pay Rate: $24.50/hour + Shift premium

• Location: Elora, ON

• Shift: Continental shift | 5 AM – 5 PM

• Job type: Temporary with possibility of permanence | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Machine Operation

• Set up, operate, and monitor calendering equipment.

• Feed materials into the machine according to production requirements.

• Adjust machine settings, including speed, temperature, pressure, and thickness.

• Monitor production runs to ensure consistent product quality.

Quality Control

• Measure and inspect finished products against specifications.

• Identify product defects and make necessary machine adjustments.

• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.

Equipment & Safety

• Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance.

• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and workplace safety requirements.

• Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and safety issues.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma and/or previous manufacturing experience

• Strong communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Reliable, organized, and punctual.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow company procedures, policies, and safety regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
