Mechanical Assembler

Adecco is currently hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a full-time opportunity in Brockville, ON. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with experience in assembly, manufacturing, electrical work, wiring, carpentry, welding, testing, and hand and power tools.

• Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/hour (based on skills and experience)

• Location: Brockville, ON (and surrounding area)

• Shift: Monday to Friday

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Mechanical Assembly & Manufacturing

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.

• Assemble mechanical components and systems using hand tools and power tools.

• Install equipment, piping, components, and support structures according to drawings.

• Perform fitting, alignment, and adjustments to meet quality and inspection standards.

• Work with both large components and small detailed parts.

Production & Quality

• Follow established manufacturing and assembly procedures.

• Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.

• Support testing, troubleshooting, and final assembly activities.

• Assist with on-site installation activities when required.

Safety & Team Support

• Support electrical, testing, and production teams as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all health and safety policies and report concerns immediately.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, welding, or construction environments is an asset.

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
