Customer Service Representative
Adecco is currently hiring a temporary, full-time Customer Service Representative for our client in Markham, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional who enjoys problem-solving, coordinating deliveries, and providing exceptional service. As the first point of contact for customers, you will manage inbound and outbound communications, coordinate equipment deliveries and pickups, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure information is accurately entered and maintained within internal systems.

Responsibilities:
Download and process customer orders through the eQuip system.
Review orders for accuracy and completeness before scheduling deliveries.
Schedule equipment deliveries and pickups while ensuring service commitments are met.
Follow up with internal teams regarding order discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Contact clients to coordinate equipment pickups, rentals, and sales transactions.
Answer inbound customer calls related to deliveries, equipment, products, and services.
Troubleshoot equipment issues over the phone and provide basic technical support.
Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and service activities.
Respond professionally to customer inquiries and provide effective solutions.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through exceptional service.
Support additional administrative and customer service functions as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is considered an asset.
Previous customer service, order processing, logistics, rental, or dispatch support experience preferred.
Experience working with order management systems such as eQuip or similar software is an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions in a professional manner.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
