Logistics Operator

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to efficiently move and manage inventory within the warehouse.
• Performing routine safety inspections on equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Loading and unloading goods from delivery trucks while ensuring accurate documentation and inventory tracking.
• Assisting with stocktaking and inventory management, promptly reporting any discrepancies to the warehouse manager.
• Collaborating with team members to streamline warehouse operations and enhance overall efficiency.
• Maintaining a clean, organized workspace in adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Your Profile

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Driver (reach forklift) or in a similar logistics role.
• Valid forklift licence and strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What’s in it for you?

✅ Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3 PM.

✅Duration: Casual 6-month assignment with potential for extension or permanent placement directly with client (at their discretion).

✅Pay Rate : $52-53 per hour, plus penalty rates where applicable 52.73
