International Tier 1 Brand company

【Responsibilities】

Commodity Execution (Cross-platform):

  • Drive commodity execution (GPU, NIC, Storage) for Z Desktop Workstation products, in collaboration with the Z Aggregated Portfolio Planning Team..
  • Partner with commodity planners and R&D to ensure development reflects market needs and regional sales requirements..
  • Analyze and recommend actions during the product sustaining stage, including cost changes, certification updates, extension requests, platform transitions.
  • Align cross-functional teams (procurement, supply chain, commodity planners, R&D) to manage commodity transition and lifecycle.
  • Be mindful of GA and EM dates, communicate with related stakeholders, and update PM deliverables (e.g., DCRs, QuickSpecs, Data Sheets, Whitepapers) accordingly.
  • Coordinate and manage administrative tasks, including sample shipment and management.

Sustaining Product Management

  • Partner with Z DTWS product planning managers to manage platform lifecycle after POR.
  • Define and communicate the scope of product refreshes with regional teams, and execute through the refresh PLC
  • Work with PBM and Cost team to determine appropriate cost in support of established pricing strategy.
  • Lead collaboration with sales and supply chain to execute launch and EOL process in each region.
  • Lead conversation with the Go-to-Market team to drive successful product marketing.


【Candidate Profile】

  • 3~5 years of solid experience in product management roles
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management fundamentals and ability to apply them in hardware product management.
  • Background in Notebooks or Desktop products is preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Highly knowledgeable of product/solution families and the business needs of the target customers
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive trade-off decisions in required timeframes.
