Trade Compliance Specialist

Our client, a company specializing in materials, networking, and lasers for the industrial, communications, electronics, and instrumentation markets, is hiring a potential candidate for Trade Compliance Specialist.

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant field.
• 9+ years of experience in import/export or trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnam import/export laws and regulations.
• Experience in customs, HS code classification, import/export compliance.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Fluent Vietnamese and English.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel domestically/internationally when required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage trade compliance activities for Vietnam operations.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.
• Oversee import/export processes, HS code classification, customs brokers, licenses, and permits.
• Conduct compliance audits, training, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, government authorities, suppliers, customers, and global trade compliance teams.
• Provide guidance on trade regulations and support business operations.
