As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals of your department while delivering a great customer experience. You will lead and develop your team, ensure operational excellence, and work in line with brand standards, policies, procedures, and values. 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

• Good command of English for communication and daily work.

• Previous experience in retail, store operations, sales, or team management.

• Experience in leading, coaching, and developing a team.

• Strong understanding of sales performance and KPI management.

• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Customer-oriented mindset with a strong focus on sales and service excellence.

• Proactive, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Willingness to work according to retail store shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.

1. Sales & Profit

• Analyse and follow up on Sales & Profit KPIs for your department and take appropriate actions to maximise sales.

• Plan and prioritise activities with your team to ensure a clear impact on sales and customer experience.

• Work with the Store Management team to plan working hours and staff scheduling according to the sales budget and business needs.

• Ensure your department continuously meets brand standards and customer service expectations.

• Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to implement the Commercial Handbook and maximise commercial opportunities.

• Ensure Store Operations and Best Practices are followed within the department and throughout the store.

• Provide input on allocation and replenishment to maintain appropriate garment levels according to sales.

• Monitor maintenance and ensure cost-efficient operations in line with brand standards.

• Actively prevent loss and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.

• Monitor the competitor landscape and communicate potential risks, threats, and opportunities to the Store Manager.

2. People & Team Management

• Manage recruitment, training, development, and succession planning for your team.

• Evaluate team performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, development plans, and follow-up.

• Identify and develop talent within the department to support future business and store needs.  

• Communicate clearly with the team regarding business performance, company culture, store goals, and department objectives.

• Promote a positive team culture and encourage feedback and collaboration in daily work.

• Act as a role model and support team members in achieving both business and personal development goals.

3. Compliance & Store Operations

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, brand standards, policies, and procedures.

• Ensure Health & Safety, legal, and security requirements are properly handled in accordance with brand standards and local regulations.

• Maintain a safe environment for both customers and employees.

• Ensure operational standards and customer service standards are consistently delivered.
