Material Planner

We are looking for a Material Planner for our client for whom we provide consulting services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
• At least, 3 years experience in Material Planning or Production Planning
• Experience with ERP systems and understanding of supply chain concepts
• Knowledge of materials requirements planning and supplier delivery performance management
• Familiarity with inventory management and material planning techniques
• Proficiency in English and native in Turkish
• Agility in problem-solving and a collaborative spirit

Job Description

·      Communicate material planning requirements and schedules to suppliers, ensuring timely confirmation and alignment with demand expectations.

·      Analyze supplier commitments against business requirements, identify potential gaps, and assess associated risks and operational impacts.

·      Identify supply chain risks and implement appropriate recovery and mitigation actions to maintain material availability.

·      Conduct regular supplier reviews to monitor delivery performance, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to agreed commitments.

·      Manage MRP exception messages proactively and anticipate potential supply constraints to prevent disruptions.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Logistics, Production, and Project Management, to align material planning activities with project and business objectives.
