Senior Supplier Quality Engineer - Electrical & Electronics

Our client is a leading global home improvement retailer with a strong presence across international markets. The company is recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and supplier excellence, serving millions of customers through a broad portfolio of home improvement, building, and lifestyle products. As part of its growth and sourcing expansion initiatives in Asia, the organization is looking for talented professionals to join its supplier quality team and contribute to driving operational excellence across global supply networks.

◼ BS Technical Degree or above

◼ GB or BB certified is preferred.

◼ Fluent in oral and written in English, can work with US counterparty and global suppliers/factory for operation and project.

◼ 3+ years’ working experience in quality field, or new product development and qualification, familiar with statistical quality control tools, such as FMEA, gage R&R, SPC etc.

◼ Good communication skills with can-do attitude.

◼ Problem-solving skillset with project management methodology.

◼ Background on Electric/Electronic product design, manufacturing process or project management.

◼ Self-discipline, self-starter, ability to work in cross-functional & global team environment. 

◼ Executive daily work and develop project independently

◼ Be the quality focal point for the supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance of sourcing products, work with supplier to establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements.

◼ Drive suppliers’ systematic quality improvement according to the voice of customers via projects of SCAR and Kaizen.

◼ Follow up non-conforming from the supplier audit, during-process inspection, pre-shipment inspection, quality complaints from internal customers, product returns and safety recalls. Identify / drive root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action implementation.

◼ Drive for the assigned quality initiative programs for key supplier management.

◼ Work closely with cross functional teams to eliminate roadblocks & communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements.

◼ Work closely with US QA team to manage service providers to ensure compliance with relevant requirements from Company Integrity Policy, QA Standard Operating Procedures and MSA.

◼ Be an internal data expert, develop algorithms and models using multiple programming languages to analyze datasets to derive business insight and improve quality improvement efficiency.
