R&D Electrical Design Engineer

Company Overview

Our client is a well-established Japanese company in the automotive industry, specializing in advanced automotive electronics and technology solutions for global automotive manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Thai native speaking only
• Bachelor or higher degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in R&D or QA/QC field. (Automotive audio products or electronics design for automotive business is an advantage)
• Basic design skills using AutoCAD, CATIA, Autodesk, and Inverter
• Good command in English

Responsibility

• Conducted feasibility studies for new product functions, including PCB and schematic design for new models.
• Coordinated with external partners and outsourcing vendors throughout new model development.
• Supported VA/VE activities to improve product profitability and optimize costs.
• Prepared BOM and new part specifications for new model development.
• Coordinated with factory teams on new model trials and transfer schedules for Production Preparation (PP) and Mass Production (MP).
• Conducted product evaluations, investigated technical issues, and developed countermeasures to maintain quality, cost, and delivery schedules.
