QA/QC Manager (JP Speaking)

Company Overview:

Our client is a well-established Japanese-owned manufacturer specializing in the processing and fabrication of air-conditioning pipes for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The company is recognized for its unique production technology, high-volume manufacturing capabilities, and ability to produce a wide variety of products in smaller quantities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Management, or related fields

• English: Internal Conversation Level (TOEIC score is preferred)

• Japanese: Internal Conversation Level (JLPT N3 or higher)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Manager or management-level position

• Strong experience in QA/QC management and quality control processes

• Experience in raw material and packaging inspection, non-conformity handling, and traceability

• QMR experience is required

• Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection procedures, and quality management systems

• Strong management, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with Japanese management and internal departments

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall QA/QC operations and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process

• Lead and supervise the QA/QC team and assign responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations

• Oversee quality inspection and testing of raw materials and packaging materials

• Ensure inspection and test results are accurate, reliable, and reported within the required timeframe

• Review and determine the acceptance status of raw materials and packaging based on established quality standards

• Handle non-conforming raw materials and packaging and coordinate appropriate corrective actions

• Monitor and maintain traceability of raw materials and packaging used in production

• Prepare monthly quality inspection and performance reports for management review

• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and other related departments to resolve quality issues

• Identify quality problems and support continuous improvement of quality control processes and standards

• Perform other duties as assigned by management
