Application Engineer & Solution Architect

A leading Japanese IT consulting and system integration company specializing in digital transformation (DX), manufacturing solutions, and enterprise technologies. The company partners with global manufacturers to deliver advanced planning, scheduling, and smart factory solutions that improve operational efficiency and supply chain performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, manufacturing systems, ERP/MES, or system implementation projects.
• Experience with SQL, ERP/MES, manufacturing planning systems, or system integration is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and manufacturing plants when required.
• Business-level English for customer communication; Japanese is not required.

• Analyze customer requirements and design production planning and scheduling solutions.
• Configure and implement Siemens Opcenter APS, including system customization and integration.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Develop technical documentation, conduct system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide user training, post-implementation support, and technical consultation.
• Support pre-sales activities and contribute to manufacturing DX and smart factory projects.
