Accounting Assistant Manager

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with regional management teams, support strategic cost management initiatives, and contribute to business improvement projects in a multinational environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in cost accounting, management accounting, and budget control.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturing sites or in a regional/multi-country role.
• Experience in the manufacturing and/or automotive industry.
• Ability to communicate in English at an internal business communication level.
• Strong understanding of cost control, profitability analysis, and operational efficiency improvement.
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO and IATF is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Strong leadership potential and willingness to take on future management responsibilities.
• Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive business improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support regional cost management and profitability improvement initiatives across ASEAN manufacturing operations.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and operational efficiency enhancement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing, finance, and other departments to drive cross-functional improvement projects.
• Monitor and evaluate manufacturing performance indicators and prepare reports for management review.
• Coordinate and communicate with regional manufacturing sites across ASEAN countries.
• Support management in developing and implementing regional business strategies and improvement initiatives.
• Participate in internal audits, factory visits, and business review meetings as required.
• Facilitate communication between local teams and management to ensure smooth business operations.
• Support talent development, organizational improvement, and sustainable management practices.
• Contribute to succession planning initiatives and gradually take on expanded management responsibilities.
