Environmental Specialist

Kolubara Region

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Environmental Specialist who will support the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety standards within an industrial environment.

The primary responsibility of this role is to minimize risks, ensure a safe working environment for all employees, and maintain full compliance with local legislation and corporate EHS regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Environmental policies, standards, and legislation through audits, inspections, and analysis of findings
• Enhance Environmental and Health & Safety culture on site by implementing initiatives and training programs
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to both the company and relevant Serbian authorities in accordance with environmental and HSE requirements
• Maintain and develop the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and H&S Management System (ISO 45001)
• Support operational environmental processes and regulatory reporting activities
• Conduct accident and incident investigations and support effective event management
• Support the HSE Director in creating procedures, instructions, and delivering training
• Ensure that all safety protocols are implemented and followed in accordance with local and corporate regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
• 2 years of professional experience in Environmental management within an industrial environment
• Experience supporting environmental and H&S compliance activities, documentation management, and reporting processes.
• Good understanding of environmental legislation, compliance requirements, and environmental reporting processes.
• OHS License is an advantage
• Fire Protection Certificate is considered an advantage
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken, is mandatory
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP
