Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client, an internationally recognized technology company operating a fast-growing digital platform across multiple markets, we are seeking an experienced finance professional to join their team as Accountant based in Belgrade.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to further develop their expertise within a dynamic and international business environment. As part of the Finance team, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and contribute to a wide range of accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

·      Support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping

·      Prepare and post accounting entries in accordance with company policies and local regulations

·      Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes

·      Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when needed

·      Maintain and organize accounting documentation and other financial records

·      Monitor updates in accounting standards and relevant legislation

·      Assist in the coordination of external audits and preparation of audit-related documentation

·      Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls

Requirements

Education & Experience

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

·      Up to 2 years of relevant accounting experience

·      Familiarity with financial reporting

·      Familiarity with IFRS standards

·      Previous experience in an international or multinational environment is considered an advantage
