Senior Compliance Controller (H/F)

📍 Porto | Hybrid Model

We are recruiting a Senior Compliance Controller to join a leading international financial institution and contribute to strengthening its control environment and regulatory compliance framework.

📍 Location: Porto
🏠 Work Model: Hybrid (8 office days per month)
📄 Contract: Fixed-term outsourcing contract (uncertain term)
⏳ Initial project duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities
• Execute compliance reviews and testing activities in line with the annual control testing plan.
• Assess the effectiveness of existing controls and identify potential regulatory risks.
• Review processes and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports, document findings and monitor remediation actions.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations and Business teams in an international environment.
• Participate in Compliance Controls projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
• Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Compliance, Risk Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Compliance, Internal Controls, Internal Audit, Risk Management or Regulatory Compliance.
• Knowledge of local banking regulations and European financial market regulations, including MiFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) and Market Abuse Regulation (MAR).
• Experience in AI Automation.
• Fluent English (C1/C2 level).
