Salesforce Technical Lead

Lead and grow a multidisciplinary Salesforce team within the world's largest IT services and consulting company, working on a long-term programme for a reference organisation in the energy sector in Portugal.

We are hiring a Salesforce Technical Lead to take ownership of technical delivery, team leadership and solution architecture across multiple Salesforce clouds, in a complex and high-impact environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary Salesforce team including developers, administrators, consultants, business analysts and technical leads
• Plan team capacity, allocate work, monitor progress and remove delivery blockers
• Guide the design, development and enhancement of scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds
• Review solution designs, integrations, security models and development practices to ensure quality and scalability
• Oversee integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware and MuleSoft where applicable
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to manage scope, priorities, risks, dependencies and resource planning
• Lead technical workshops, sprint planning sessions, design reviews and stakeholder meetings
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices for security, performance, testing, release management and documentation
• Support pre-sales activities through estimations, technical presentations and solution proposals
• Drive continuous improvement, mentoring and technical excellence across the Salesforce practice

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of Salesforce experience including strong hands-on configuration and development
• At least 3 years in technical leadership or team management roles
• Proven delivery experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud or Experience Cloud
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Architecture, Apex, LWC, Flow, Data Modelling, Security, APIs, Integration Patterns and Deployment Practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, testing strategies and code reviews

Nice to Have

• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity or enterprise integration solutions
• Experience with Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Industry Clouds, ERP integrations or large-scale digital commerce programmes
• Exposure to pre-sales activities, solution workshops and client-facing engagements
• Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer I, Administrator, Consultant, Application Architect or System Architect
• MuleSoft certifications are a plus
