SQA Engineer

Candidate Profile:

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Solid experience in manual testing with exposure to automation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
• Hands-on experience with Postman and REST API testing.
• Proficiency with project tracking tools (JIRA).
• Experience with XRAY.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2/C1).
• Experience working in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure or other public cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with event-based architectures and Kafka.
• Understanding of microservices design principles.
• Python scripting skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database systems.
• Experience with Git and GitHub, including pipeline development.
• Exposure to Robot Framework for test automation.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and backend applications.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Contribute to test automation efforts using tools such as Robot Framework (added value).
• Validate REST APIs using tools like Postman.
• Track and report defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Work independently and as part of a distributed team to meet project goals.
• Exhibit strong English communication skills, B2/C1 level, to facilitate effective project collaboration within a distributed team.
