Warehouse Employee

As a Temporary Warehouse Employee, you will help ensure that orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to customers. Together with a friendly and motivated team, you will play an important role in keeping daily warehouse operations running smoothly. 

You will work regular daytime hours, leaving your evenings free. If you perform well, there may be an opportunity to stay with the company for a longer period. As a Warehouse Employee, you are an important part of the logistics process. Your main responsibilities include: 

• Picking customer orders; 
• Packing orders carefully and efficiently; 
• Checking products and quantities for accuracy; 
• Storing goods in the correct warehouse locations; 
• Identifying and reporting damaged products or discrepancies; 
• Working together with colleagues to complete daily warehouse activities. 

This is a physically active role that involves standing and walking for extended periods. You should be able to lift packages weighing up to 15 kg.

• Salary between €15.50 and €16.00 gross per hour; 
• Day shift working hours from 07:30 to 16:00; 
• Full-time position of 40 hours per week (32 hours is also negotiable); 
• 25 vacation days and 8,33% holiday allowance; 
• Temporary position with the possibility of a longer-term opportunity based on performance. 

Our client is a wholesale and logistics partner specializing in interior and inventory solutions.The company supplies customers in the hospitality, retail, and healthcare sectors, with the hospitality sector representing a significant part of its customer base.

You will join an organization with more than 50 employees and work closely with a warehouse team of approximately 15 colleagues. The working atmosphere is informal and supportive, with a strong focus on teamwork and job satisfaction. The working week is regularly rounded off with a friendly Friday afternoon get-together. 

Due to increased demand during the busy season, particularly throughout the summer and towards the end of the year, the company is looking for temporary warehouse support. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable logistics experience while becoming part of a close-knit team.

• Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods; 
• Able to lift packages weighing up to 15 kg; 
• Good command of Dutch and English; 
• Flexible and reliable; 
• Forklift and reach truck certifications are considered an advantage; 
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
