Adhesive Application Engineer for Display/Mobile market

Key Competencies:

• Provide hands-on technical assistance for a specialized material product line in the electronics market (Display & Mobile)
• Drive process improvements and support product commercialization through application optimization.
• Collaborate directly with client teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex product and process issues.
• Investigate and address fundamental challenges across the product portfolio by developing new application techniques and conducting material characterization.
• Conduct field testing using relevant application and analysis tools.

An Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical discipline such as Materials Science, Electronic Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in mobile / display manufacturing, process or technical customer interface environment
• Deep understanding of the latest trends in display and mobile technologies and excellent data analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills in one-on-one communication with colleagues, customers and in group environments, and the ability to work independently or multitask as a team member
• Along with the ability to successfully handle on-sight support of complex customer issues
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership to complete projects and consistently deliver the highest level of quality based on a customer-centric mindset and a deep understanding of customer needs and culture
• Ability to formulate strong conclusions and path forward from project work
• Korean is native and English is intermediate or above
