Sales Chief (Japanese Speaking)

Company Overview:

Our client is a well-established Japanese-owned trading company specializing in steel products, raw materials, machinery, and industrial equipment. With over 50 years of operations in Thailand and strong support from the JFE Group’s global network, the company provides reliable solutions and services to a wide range of customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree in any related fields

• English: Good command of speaking and writing

• Japanese: Good command of speaking and writing (JLPT N3 or above)

• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in trading or related industries

• Experience in machinery, equipment, raw materials, or industrial products is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• No need to drive own car (company have car and driver support)

• Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills

• Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to visit customers and develop new business

• Able to work with Japanese HQ, overseas offices, and international customers

Responsibilities:

• Conduct sales activities for machinery, equipment, consumables, and raw materials

• Manage sales and purchasing activities with domestic and overseas customers and suppliers

• Develop new customers and business opportunities in steel, aluminium, cement, paper, chemical, and related industries

• Maintain good relationships with existing customers and explore new business opportunities

• Coordinate with Japan HQ, overseas subsidiaries, customers, and suppliers in Japanese and English

• Plan and coordinate customer visits and business trips in Thailand

• Provide Japanese-Thai-English interpretation and translation support when required

• Prepare quotations, business reports, presentations, and related sales documents

• Support the expansion of trading business and development of new products and markets

• Perform other sales and business development tasks as assigned
