New Model Engineer

Company Overview

Our client is a well-established Japanese company in the automotive industry, specializing in advanced automotive electronics and technology solutions for global automotive manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Thai native speaking only
• Bachelor or higher degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in design or new model field. (Experience from Manufacturing is a plus)
• Basic design skills using AutoCAD, CATIA, Autodesk, and Inverter
• Good command in English

Responsibility

• Led new model launch projects, managing project timelines and coordinating with relevant functions to address key concerns.
• Confirmed new product quality and performance and followed up on quality and productivity issues.
• Supported production teams in analyzing quality issues and implementing process improvements.
• Prepared and supported customer requirement documentation and reports, including PPAP and APQP, and co-checked parts with customers.
• Managed engineering change control processes and coordinated implementation with relevant functions.
• Supported internal and external quality audits and coordinated with relevant departments to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.
