Laboratory Specialist

The Laboratory Specialist is responsible for supporting laboratory operations within the new production area by performing routing testing, monitoring, production processes, collecting and analyzing data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory testing and analysis according to established procedures and specifications
. • Collect samples from production processes and conduct required evaluations and inspections.
• Monitor product quality and process performance within the new production area.
• Conduct routine observations of manufacturing operations to identify quality trends and process deviations.
• Record laboratory test results accurately and maintain laboratory documentation.
• Perform data entry and maintain electronic and manual laboratory records. • Compile, organize, and analyze laboratory and production data for trend analysis and reporting purposes.
• Assist in investigating quality issues, non conformances, and customer complaints.
• Prepare reports, charts, and summaries of laboratory findings and production performance.
• Support validation activities, product trials, and process improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and laboratory procedures.
Education
• Associate's degree in chemistry, Biology, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related scientific field required. • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical discipline preferred. Experience Minimum of 3 years of laboratory, quality, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of laboratory testing techniques and quality systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data.
• Experience with data entry and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions
• Full-time, on-site position.
• Exposure to manufacturing and laboratory environments.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to support production needs.
