Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and ensure a safe, productive, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on warehouse experience, and the ability to oversee employees while maintaining operational excellence. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, coordinating workflow, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting inventory and distribution activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead warehouse team members to ensure daily productivity, quality, and safety goals are achieved.
• Coordinate and monitor receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control activities.
• Provide direction, coaching, and training to warehouse employees while promoting a positive and accountable work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct daily warehouse walkthroughs to identify and resolve operational issues and safety concerns.
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts as needed to support warehouse operations.
• Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivity while providing constructive feedback and support.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Collaborate with management to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
• Investigate and resolve shipping, receiving, inventory, and operational discrepancies.
• Prepare reports and communicate warehouse performance metrics to management.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment.
• Prior supervisory or management experience, preferably overseeing warehouse operations and employees.
• Hands-on experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage employees in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, inventory management software, or related technology.
• Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Forklift Trainer Certification or experience training and certifying employees on forklift operation.
• Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process optimization experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
