Responsibilities for an Automotive Upholstery & Seat Assembly Technician include but are not limited to:

• Cut, inspect, and prepare leather, vinyl, fabric, foam, and other automotive upholstery materials using patterns, drawings, and cutting layouts.

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew and assemble seat trim covers, including decorative stitching, seams, and reinforcement materials.

• Install trim covers and assemble complete automotive seats, including frames, foam cushions, plastics, hardware, headrests, and armrests.

• Perform quality inspections to verify fit, finish, stitch quality, dimensional accuracy, and functional operation while supporting prototype and production-intent builds.

Candidates for Automotive Upholstery & Seat Assembly Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive upholstery, seat trim, sewing, furniture upholstery, or related manufacturing environments.

• Proven ability to cut and sew complex upholstery patterns using leather, vinyl, fabric, foam, and other interior materials.

• Experience assembling complete seats or upholstered products from individual components through final assembly.

• Ability to read and interpret patterns, drawings, work instructions, specifications, and production documentation.

Pay Details: $28.50 per hour
