Pay Rate: $39/Hour

📅 Schedule: Monday-Friday

⏰ Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST

🏠 Location: Remote (Work from Home)

📍 Must reside in the Greater Houston, TX area and be available to attend training and occasional onsite meetings in The Woodlands, TX.

🩺 What You'll Be Doing

As a Remote Oncology Triage RN, you'll serve as a trusted resource and advocate for oncology patients, helping them navigate treatment and symptom management while coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telephonic oncology assessments and triage

• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and symptom management

• Coordinate care across providers, specialists, and support services

• Identify barriers to care and connect patients with resources

• Document all patient interactions accurately within the EMR

• Support patients and caregivers throughout the cancer care continuum

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes

• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment

🎯 Required Qualifications

✔ Active, unrestricted RN License in Texas or another Compact State

✔ Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience

✔ At least 2 recent years of dedicated Oncology/Hematology experience (Outpatient Oncology Clinic or Hospital Oncology Unit)

✔ Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) OR willingness to obtain certification within 1 year

✔ Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

✔ Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office

✔ Excellent communication and patient education skills

✔ Ability to work independently from a HIPAA-compliant home office

✔ Reliable high-speed internet connection

✔ Ability to attend onsite training and meetings in The Woodlands, TX
