Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice | Houston Area, TX

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice contract in the Houston, TX area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a compassionate, patient-focused team while making a meaningful impact in the lives of hospice patients and their families.

Job Details

• Coverage Area: Up to 60 miles from the Houston office

• Contract Length: 3-Month Contract, with possibility of extension

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM

• Pay Rate: $53.00 - $55.90 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement between patient visits

• On-Call Requirement: Required during weekdays and weekends

• Weekend Requirement: Required as part of the on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of hospice patients in home and community settings

• Perform hospice admissions, routine patient visits, and end-of-life visits

• Complete comprehensive patient assessments and documentation

• Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team

• Provide education and support to patients and their families

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality hospice care

Requirements

• Active RN license

• Associate degree in Nursing or higher

• Recent hospice experience

• Recent HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience

• Ability to manage patient visits independently

• Reliable transportation for local travel

• Strong assessment and documentation skills

Pay Details: $53.00 to $55.90 per hour
