Quality Assurance Engineer

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop test procedures, quality plans, and inspection plans to ensure products meet organizational, customer, and aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 and AS9102 requirements.

• Conduct quality inspections and audits, analyze quality data, and perform root cause analysis and corrective actions to address defects, non-conformities, and process deviations.

• Coordinate and support First Article Inspections (FAI), supplier quality activities, purchased-part inspection plans, supplier first article reviews, and internal, customer, and third-party audits.

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams on quality planning, continuous improvement, Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives, and new product development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline required.

• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of or the ability to learn root cause analysis and corrective action methods.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn production processes, quality inspection tools, and Quality Management Systems.

• Experience or training in quality assurance within aerospace or another regulated industry is preferred; knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9001, FAA, NADCAP, First Article Inspection Reports, or MRB processes is a plus.

• This position requires a mix of walking within a manufacturing environment and prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Candidates must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. This position is fully on-site.

Pay Details: $38.50 per hour
