Project Detailer / AutoCAD Drafter – ACM & Wall Cladding
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Detailer / AutoCAD Drafter with experience in Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) and wall cladding systems to join our client's growing team. This in-house role is responsible for producing precise shop drawings, fabrication packages, and project details that support successful manufacturing and installation processes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical drafting skills, extensive AutoCAD experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, project teams, and production personnel to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed shop drawings for ACM panels and wall cladding systems using AutoCAD.
- Develop accurate fabrication drawings, production sheets, and installation details for manufacturing and project execution.
- Review and interpret architectural plans, specifications, field measurements, and project requirements.
- Communicate directly with customers and project stakeholders to obtain project information and clarify design details.
- Coordinate closely with production and manufacturing teams to ensure drawing accuracy and constructability.
- Revise and update drawings based on project modifications, customer feedback, or field conditions.
- Maintain organized project documentation and adhere to established drafting standards.
- Work collaboratively with department leadership and team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
- Proven experience working with ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) and architectural wall cladding systems.
- Strong understanding of shop drawing development, detailing, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting fabrication or manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of commercial construction practices and building envelope systems.
- Familiarity with project coordination and field measurement processes.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
