Production Operations

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Production Operations positions in Minneapolis MN. This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills as a General Warehouse, while learning new ones to assist you in your career.

Perks: 

• Shift: Training 8 am – 4 pm (Monday - Friday for 2 months) Once trained, move to shift 2:00pm - 10pm (Monday - Friday with some weekend OT if needed)

Responsibilities:

• Pulling material from warehouse for shop use and ensuring material is issued to correct locomotive with all necessary information: position, serial number, removal reason, service sheet.

• Weekly managing stockouts, including obtaining updated estimated times of arrival for completely stocked out parts or parts low on stock.

• Daily performing cycle counts to find and correct inconsistencies in inventory on hands.

• Forecasting material needs for inbound and in-shop locomotives and pulling in any needed material in the timeliest and most cost-efficient manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma / GED / or at least 2 years of recent and relevant work history.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Successful previous experience working in a logistics or shipping/receiving work environment

• Previous experience safely operating forklifts and other shop equipment.

• A high level of attention to detail in juggling multiple duties/responsibilities.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
