Adecco Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Patient Navigator - Surgical Services to support patients through every step of their healthcare journey. 📍 Location: Newark, NJ

💲 Pay Rate: $30-$33/hour

What You'll Do:

✅ Serve as a dedicated patient advocate, guiding patients through surgical and healthcare processes

✅ Coordinate appointments, surgeries, diagnostic testing, and post-operative follow-up care

✅ Assist patients with insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, and access to resources

✅ Communicate with physicians, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

✅ Address barriers to care and connect patients with community resources and support services

✅ Manage patient records, documentation, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately

✅ Schedule and coordinate operating room procedures and related testing

✅ Build strong relationships with patients, providers, and referring physicians

We're Looking For:

✔ Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent healthcare experience

✔ 2+ years of healthcare experience working directly with patients

✔ Strong patient advocacy, customer service, and communication skills

✔ Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes

✔ Experience with scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and care coordination

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems

✔ Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently while supporting a team

✔ Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus!

Pay Details: $33.00 per hour
