Pay & Shifts

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM — $20.00/hour

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM — $21.00/hour

• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM — $22.00/hour

Job Summary

We are hiring Production Packaging Associates for a manufacturing facility in Janesville, WI!

This is an entry-level position with multiple areas of the production line. The work is easy to learn, but the pace is fast, so candidates must be comfortable staying busy and working efficiently throughout their shift.

No previous manufacturing experience is required, and a high school diploma/GED is not required. Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome to apply.

What You'll Do

Depending on your assigned area, responsibilities may include:

• Load cardboard and fold boxes for production

• Remove empty plastic containers from the production line and inspect them for quality

• Package containers 4 per carton

• Palletize finished cartons and shrink-wrap pallets

• Monitor production lines and clear bottle jams

• Inspect bottles and packaging for defects or quality issues

• Replenish packaging materials as needed

• Move finished products to designated areas

• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe

• Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures

• Wear required PPE

• Work as part of a team to maintain a smooth production flow

• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work well with others

• Basic math skills

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to follow safety and quality procedures

• Comfortable standing and walking throughout the shift

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb a small step ladder, or get into a crawl position when needed

No previous production experience required — training is provided!

Working Conditions

• Production environment with moving machinery

• Work environment can be loud

• Facility is not climate controlled and can become warm and humid during the summer

• Fast-paced environment with repetitive work

• Must be comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the shift

PPE

• Steel-toe shoes/boots — provided

• Safety glasses — provided

• Ear plugs — provided

• Hair/beard nets — provided

• Bump cap — provided; associates use their own baseball cap with the insert

Break Schedule

• 10-minute break after approximately 2 hours

• 30-minute unpaid meal break after approximately 4 hours

• 10-minute break after approximately 6 hours

Associates may leave the facility during their unpaid meal break.

Overtime

Overtime opportunities are available, typically on Saturdays.

Saturday overtime is generally posted as voluntary on Wednesday. If additional coverage is needed, the Saturday overtime may be changed to mandatory on Friday.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
