Adecco is currently hiring Machine Operators for a leading manufacturer of geosynthetic products used in environmental protection, erosion control, mining, infrastructure, water management, and containment projects throughout North America.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, where you will work as an Adecco employee for up to 90 days, with the potential to be hired directly by our client based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

Position Overview

Geosynthetic Manufacturing Technician - Job Duties (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)
Location: Spearfish, SD
Pay Rate: $23.50/hr. 

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to produce geosynthetic materials for construction, mining, and environmental projects.
• Load large rolls of fiber onto production machinery using a forklift.
• Place needles into needle boards by hand and assist with machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Monitor production lines to ensure efficient operation and product quality.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot minor production issues and report equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Measure, package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
• Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and other production-related duties as needed.
• Operate a forklift safely following completion of company-provided training and certification. Forklift training will be provided, and employees must successfully complete training and sign-off requirements before operating equipment independently.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working around moving machinery, fiber materials, and production equipment.
• Ability to work overtime and varying shifts as required by production demands

Schedule Requirements

Schedule: Must be flexible and available to work rotating shifts based on production needs. Employees are guaranteed 40 hours per week, but shift assignments may vary and can include:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Saturday Overtime: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, as needed

Shifts may change from week to week depending on production demand. Candidates must be willing and able to work any shift schedule assigned.

 

Pay Details: $23.50 per hour
