Medical Technologist (MT/MLT/MLS) – Day Shift Position Type: Permanent / Full-Time Shift: Days | 8-hour shifts Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay Range: $27.10–$32.00 per hour, based on experience Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500 with proof/receipts We are seeking a qualified Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join a hospital laboratory team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a consistent day-shift schedule, competitive compensation, and relocation assistance. Position Details Full-time, permanent position Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Starting pay: $27.10/hour Final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications If working the complete day-shift schedule, weekend coverage is every third weekend Holiday rotation includes: Two minor holidays: Memorial Day and Labor Day One major holiday: Christmas, Thanksgiving, or New Year's Day Laboratory staff are cross-trained for night shift coverage on rare occasions when additional coverage is needed Relocation assistance of up to $2,500 available with required proof/receipts Education & Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science MT, MLT, or MLS candidates will be considered Phlebotomy experience/competency required Strong attention to detail and commitment to laboratory quality and patient safety Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented clinical environment Additional Opportunity: Microbiology Lead Technician and Chemistry Lead Technician positions are also available for MLS-qualified candidates. Laboratory Services The laboratory provides a broad range of diagnostic testing, including: Chemistry Hematology Serology Urinalysis Coagulation Blood Bank Molecular testing Microbiology The laboratory supports a 110-bed hospital with services including an Emergency Department, Skilled Nursing Unit, Surgery/Recovery, OB, Medical Unit, and ICU. The lab also serves outpatient patients Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and performs testing for partner clinics throughout the surrounding area. Staffing Typical laboratory staffing includes: Day shift: 4–5 technologists and 3 phlebotomists Evening shift: 3–4 technologists and 2 phlebotomists Night shift: 1 technologist and 1 phlebotomist Professional Appearance Requirements Jewelry must be kept to a minimum while on duty. Visible facial and/or body piercings, other than traditional ear piercings and small nose studs, are not permitted while working. Examples include, but are not limited to: Nose rings or hoops Eyebrow piercings Lip piercings Cheek piercings Compensation Pay Range: $27.10–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and qualifications. Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500 with required proof and receipts.
