Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a healthcare clinic in Irving, TX.

This is an on-site opportunity with a standard Monday through Friday schedule.

Pay: $22.00 to $24.34/hour
Type: 3-Month Contract, possibility of an extension
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Irving, TX

Primary Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain the clinical environment.
• Room patients and provide clinical support to physicians and nursing staff.
• Assist with patient care procedures under the supervision of a medical provider.
• Identify patient needs and communicate information to providers and the clinical team.
• Obtain and document patient information as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Deliver quality customer service and support a positive patient experience.
• Follow infection control, privacy, confidentiality, and clinic policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification required, or ability to obtain certification within 180 days of employment.
• Current BLS certification required at hire or within 30 days of hire.
• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Additional Details:
• Grey or Navy scrubs required.
• No travel required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs. with assistance.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.34 per hour
