Medical Assistant – Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Location: Burlington, MA 01803
Pay: Up to $24.30/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM–5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Assignment: Contract through December 31, 2026, with potential for contract-to-hire
Certification: None required
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a Medical Assistant opportunity with a well-established healthcare organization known for providing patient-centered outpatient care.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant who brings EPIC experience and is looking for a stable outpatient environment with the potential to transition into a longer-term opportunity.
Position Overview
The Medical Assistant will support day-to-day clinical operations in an outpatient setting, working alongside providers and clinical staff to help deliver an efficient, organized, and positive patient experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, hands-on EPIC experience, and strong patient-facing communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support providers and clinical staff with day-to-day clinical and office operations.
Assist with patient intake, room preparation, and clinical workflows.
Obtain and accurately document patient information.
Enter and update patient information within EPIC and other electronic systems.
Support providers and clinical staff in maintaining an efficient patient flow.
Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families.
Follow established clinical procedures, safety standards, and organizational protocols.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Help maintain clean, organized, and appropriately stocked clinical areas.
Support additional clinical and administrative responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
EPIC experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in an outpatient clinical environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Ability to work onsite in Burlington, MA
Nice to Have:
Pediatric experience
Previous outpatient or ambulatory care experience

Location: Burlington, MA 01803
Hours: 7:45 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with Monday, Thursday, or Friday required and flexibility on additional weekdays as needed

Patient Home Visits: None
Dress Code: No specific scrub color required

This position is a contract assignment through December 31, 2026, with the potential for contract-to-hire based on business needs, performance, and mutual fit.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.30 per hour
