Materials Specialist

Adecco is currently assisting a manufacturing client in Clearwater, FL, with the search for a Materials Specialist. This is a potential temp-to-hire opportunity offering $18.50 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday

• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• Overtime may be required based on production needs

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stockroom Clerk/Material Specialist to support inventory and production operations. This role is responsible for receiving and organizing parts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preparing kits for the production team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory records and an organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kitting: Gather, package, and label parts according to work orders and bills of materials (BOMs).

• Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Receiving & Stocking: Verify incoming materials and place inventory in designated storage locations.

• Stockroom Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.

• Track inventory transactions and assist with inventory management activities as needed.

• Support production by ensuring materials are available and ready for use.

Qualifications:

• Previous stockroom, inventory, warehouse, or materials management experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to accurately count and track inventory

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Basic computer skills and inventory system experience are a plus

Pay Details: $18.50 per hour
