Adecco is currently hiring Masker I associates for a precision manufacturing facility in North Austin.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy detailed, hands-on work and take pride in accuracy and quality. Candidates must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks while seated for most of the shift and working with small components requiring strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

1st Shift

• Monday-Friday

• 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

• Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

2nd Shift

• Monday-Friday

• 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

• Pay Rate: $19.50/hour

Position Overview

During the first 6-12 months, employees will complete a certification program while learning core masking and demasking processes for products being prepared for parylene coating. Additional responsibilities may include cleaning, surface preparation, inspection, packaging, shipping, receiving, fixture refurbishing, and other production-related duties.

This role requires:

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent hand-eye coordination

• Manual dexterity for precision work

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions

• Commitment to quality and consistency

• Ability to sit for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks

Experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) is preferred but not required.

Essential Responsibilities

• Follow all manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and verbal and written directions

• Perform masking, demasking, and inspection tasks using small hand tools, microscopes, and support equipment

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met

• Disassemble, clean, refurbish, and reassemble coating fixtures as needed

• Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling requirements

• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality

• Support production goals while maintaining quality standards

Additional Responsibilities

• Operate precision measuring instruments and record results when required

• Work in a clean-room environment while following PPE and hygiene requirements

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all plant and company safety procedures

• Handle, label, package, ship, or dispose of materials in accordance with company procedures

• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required

• PCB experience preferred but not required

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, inspection, masking, production, electronics, or detail-oriented experience is a plus

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions

• Basic math skills

• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

• Ability to remain seated for extended periods

• Ability to distinguish colors including red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and violet

• Ability to meet near-vision requirements with or without corrective lenses

Work Environment

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.50 per hour
