Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to find a full time Manufacturing Engineer for their plant located in the Cookeville, TN area.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction

  • Design and modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production goals

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for production issues

  • Implement lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, standard work, etc.)

  • Support new product introductions and engineering changes

  • Develop and maintain process documentation (work instructions, PFMEA, control plans)

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions as needed


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience within a manufacturing environment 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO/TS and IATF standards

  • Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary starting in the 60k-80k range (based on experience)

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
