The Houseman/Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the property. This role is responsible for delivering supplies, assisting room attendants, cleaning public areas, handling linen distribution, and ensuring guest areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, towels, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and employee areas.
Collect, transport, and stock clean linens and supplies throughout the property.
Remove trash, soiled linens, and debris from guest floors and common areas.
Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned.
Set up and move furniture, equipment, and supplies for special events or hotel needs.
Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping service calls.
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged property to management.
Ensure housekeeping storage areas remain organized and properly stocked.
Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or custodial experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.
Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
Capable of moving carts, linens, and housekeeping equipment safely.
Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
