Adecco is hiring experienced Forklift Operators!

Location: Outside Lockhart, TX

Schedule Options:

Monday-Friday | 10:00 PM-6:00 AM

The Role

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of food products in a warehouse environment. This position operates material-handling equipment and supports loading, unloading, staging, inventory, and warehouse operations.

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of hands-on reach truck forklift experience required

Minimum 1 year of warehouse or related experience

Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks

Ability to safely load, unload, move, stage, and store products

Forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification upon hire

Cold storage experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Safely operate reach truck and other warehouse equipment

Move products and materials throughout the warehouse

Load and unload trucks safely and accurately

Stage pallets and orders for shipment

Store materials in designated warehouse locations

Complete equipment inspections before each shift

Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs

Report product damage, quality concerns, and inventory discrepancies

Follow all warehouse and equipment safety procedures

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be at least 18 years old

Valid U.S. driver's license required

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Strong attention to detail

Dependable attendance and punctuality

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

Ability to pass a background check

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or evenings when required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Cold-storage warehouse environment

May work in temperatures around 34°F for extended periods, with exposure to refrigerated and below-zero areas

Must be comfortable working around forklifts, order pickers, and other moving warehouse equipment

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

Regularly lift up to 15 pounds

Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment

Must maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Important: Applicants must have at least 1 year of actual reach truck forklift operating experience.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
