Electrical Engineer

Primary responsibilities include:

• Design electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for aerospace and defense applications, including preparing schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), printed circuit boards (PCBs), wiring harnesses, and assembly drawings.

• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing, and planning teams to ensure system form, fit, function, safety, and customer requirements are achieved.

• Design and support test control apparatus and qualification/production test equipment, determine testing methods and procedures, and ensure manufacturing, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications.

• Prepare and coordinate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), support production and field-return repairs, address component obsolescence and new-source verification/validation, and use computer-assisted engineering software to perform engineering tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university, or a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Experience with electrical design and engineering documentation, including schematics, PCBs, wiring harnesses, BOMs, assembly drawings, analog circuit calculations, and engineering change notices (ECNs).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, along with electronic simulation software; experience with Cadence Capture/PCB Designer, Mentor Graphics Viewer, and Gerber Viewer/Editor software.

• Strong analytical, mathematical, reasoning, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret technical procedures and requirements, solve practical engineering problems, prepare reports and procedure manuals, and communicate effectively with managers, clients, and customers.

Pay Details: $38.00 per hour
