EDM Machinist

Warren, MI | Direct Hire | 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Up to $30/hour

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment Team is recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturer for an experienced EDM Machinist to join their Warren, MI facility. This is a hands-on machining opportunity producing precision components for both military and commercial aerospace applications.

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $30/hour

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

• $3,000 retention/sign-on bonus: $1,000 after 90 days and $2,000 after one year

• 80 hours of vacation/PTO, prorated for the remainder of this year; full annual allotment begins January 1, 2027

• 32 hours of floating holidays, available from the start

• Overtime opportunities as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate EDM machines to produce precision aerospace components

• Read and interpret operation sheets, parameter sheets, blueprints, and work instructions

• Set and adjust machine parameters to achieve required quality standards and successful LCS testing

• Properly set up parts and fixtures to ensure accurate and efficient machining

• Inspect completed parts using gauges and precision measuring equipment

• Verify components meet customer specifications and quality requirements

• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation

• Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment

• Demonstrated knowledge of EDM machining

• Experience setting up EDM machines and adjusting machine parameters

• Ability to read and interpret operation sheets, parameter sheets, blueprints, and technical documentation

• Experience using gauges and precision measuring equipment to inspect finished parts

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

• Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and machining techniques

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
