Position Summary

As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you will serve as a primary point of contact for new Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement members. In this role, you will make outbound calls and handle inbound inquiries, ensuring applications are accurate, questions are answered, and customers receive a positive onboarding experience.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can build trust with customers, manage multiple systems simultaneously, and effectively resolve concerns while maintaining exceptional service standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take inbound calls from customers who have recently submitted insurance applications.

  • Review applications for accuracy and completeness.

  • Assist customers with questions regarding Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans.

  • Provide guidance throughout the onboarding process and help ensure a smooth transition into coverage.

  • Educate members on available healthcare programs, resources, and support services.

  • Document customer interactions accurately within Salesforce and other CRM systems.

  • Create, manage, and follow up on customer cases as needed.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and ensure timely follow-up.

  • Respond promptly to customer callbacks, emails, and voicemail messages.

  • Schedule and conduct follow-up conversations to address outstanding questions or issues.

  • Navigate multiple software applications while maintaining professional and efficient customer interactions.

  • Meet established quality, productivity, and performance goals.

  • Participate in team meetings, training programs, and ongoing professional development.

  • Maintain a customer-focused, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach during all interactions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience in customer service, call center, healthcare, insurance, member services, or sales support preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.

  • Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  • Proficiency using computers and navigating multiple systems simultaneously.

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Schedule & Location

  • Monday-Friday

  • Project will run through December 7th

  • Must reside in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area

  • Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated workspace required

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
