Customer Field Technician

Adecco is hiring immediately for a Customer Field Technician with a local client in Phoenix, AZ. Pay is $25.00/hr. - $26.40hr.  

Duties:

·       Role: 100 % onsite.

·       Shift: Standard 8-5-day shift

·       Supports the assembly, installation preparation, and movement of semiconductor equipment and components in a customer FAB or field operations environment.

·       Working under general supervision, the technician performs mechanical assembly, system build activities, material handling, and site support functions while adhering to established quality, safety, and operational procedures.

·       This position requires demonstrated mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow detailed work instructions, and experience using hand tools and measurement equipment in a manufacturing, field service, or industrial environment.

·       Perform mechanical assembly and subassembly of equipment, modules, and components.

·       Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assigned work.

·       Read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, procedures, and checklists.

·       Support equipment staging, installation preparation, material movement, and site readiness activities.

·       Assist with equipment levelling, alignment, and basic mechanical adjustments.

·       Verify component quality and identify discrepancies or defects.

·       Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.

·       Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies.

·       Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements.

·       Work collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and field teams.

 

Qualifications:

·       This position requires demonstrated mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow detailed work instructions, and experience using hand tools and measurement equipment in a manufacturing, field service, or industrial environment.

·       High School Diploma or equivalent.

·       1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, equipment assembly, field operations, maintenance, or related technical environments.

·       Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

·       Experience using hand tools and basic measuring equipment.

·       Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions.

·       Ability to lift, move, and handle materials consistent with job requirements.

·       Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

·       Mechanical assembly, equipment installation support, and material handling experience all required skills and experience.
