Composite Assembler

Primary responsibilities include:

• Perform vacuum bagging and related composite fabrication processes for the fabrication and curing of composite parts.

• Clean and smooth molds, cores, and core boxes, repair surface imperfections, assemble cores according to work instructions, and de-mold cured parts.

• Document materials used for traceability purposes and utilize a scanner for time, attendance, and work traveler transactions.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area, comply with company policies and safety regulations, and work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• General knowledge of practices and procedures used to fabricate composite parts or similar products is preferred.

• Ability to read and correctly interpret instructions in English, use measuring instruments, operate a computer/scanner, and accurately follow work instructions.

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including regularly standing, using hands and arms, maintaining required visual capabilities, and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs., as well as lifting rolls of material.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
