CNC Saw Operator — 1st Shift

Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC Saw Operator to accurately cut plastic materials to precise specifications. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on saw operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use measuring tools and basic math to produce quality parts while maximizing material usage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate table, panel, and CNC saws to cut plastic materials according to specifications.

• Select, identify, and label materials by size, color, and coding.

• Measure materials using tape measures, rulers, and calipers.

• Perform first-article inspections and verify finished parts meet specifications.

• Calculate material yields and optimize sheet layouts using basic math and sketches.

• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.

• Follow safety procedures and equipment training requirements.

• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with team members and other departments.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Make process improvement recommendations and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 1 year of saw operation experience preferred.

• Experience in carpentry, woodworking, or metal cutting is transferable—we are willing to train!

• Ability to set up saws with the correct tooling, speeds, and feeds.

• Strong math, logic, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with measuring tools, including tape measures, rulers, and calipers.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements
This position requires standing for extended periods, frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and handling materials. Candidates must be able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Assistance is required when lifting or moving heavier materials.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
