2nd shift CNC Machinists (Mill and Turning)– East Hartford, CT | Pay: $54,0800.00 –$79,040.00 p/y (based on experience) + 15% shift differential with a $10,000 sign on bonus | Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k) with Company Match
 
Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
 
Your Expertise:
Part Size: 10” to 60”
Machines Controls: Fanuc, Okuma
Types of Machines: Gantry Mill, Horizontal Mill
Machine Axis: Must be able to run 3, 4, 5 axis mills
Measuring Equipment Types: Must be able to use a Micrometer, Dial Calipers, Vernier Calipers, Indicators, Dial Bore, Plug Gages, Thread Gages, Cadillac Gage, Height Gage
Machine Set-Up: Must be able to interpret setup instructions to indicate fixtures and use tooling balls to set fixtures and measure features.
Overtime: Y/N
Multi-Manning: Must be able to run multiple machines when needed.
Must be able to set tooling and adjust offsets as needed.
Must be familiar with tolerances down to +/- .0005.
Must be familiar with Renishaw probing and touch setters.
Must have experience with the following materials: Inconel, Hastelloy, Titanium, Stainless, Aluminum
 
Years of Experience:
3 + years in Aerospace Shop, must be able to read GDT Symbols, must be able to read Operation Sheets(B/P’s)
 
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
