CNC Lathe & Mill Operator

Location: Ringgold, GA
Schedule: Day Shift and Night Shift Available
Pay: $24-$28/hr DOE

Position Summary

We are hiring experienced CNC Lathe and Mill Operators to join our growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment while producing high-quality precision components. Candidates should have experience in CNC machining, blueprint reading, and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to manufacture precision parts

• Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

• Verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments

• Maintain required tolerances and quality standards

• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

• Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience

• Experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills

• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T

• Experience using precision measuring equipment

• Knowledge of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining processes

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Dependable attendance and work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC setup experience

• Basic G-code editing or programming knowledge

• Experience with multi-axis machines

• Vocational or technical machining training

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
