Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a leading global consumer products organization for a hands-on Hair Color Laboratory Technician opportunity in Darien, CT.

This position will support laboratory formulation and product evaluation activities for hair color products. The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work hands-on with formulations, laboratory equipment, consumer product samples, and hair tresses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute hair color laboratory batches according to established formulations and procedures.

• Conduct product stability testing and evaluate color performance and efficacy.

• Prepare consumer laboratory samples and apply products to hair tresses for performance evaluation.

• Operate laboratory equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, and viscometers.

• Accurately record, analyze, and report laboratory results, including formulation stability and efficacy findings.

• Follow established cGMP practices, laboratory procedures, and safety requirements.

• Assist with the maintenance and organization of raw materials, glassware, laboratory supplies, and waste.

• Handle and lift bulk raw materials and laboratory materials as required.

• Communicate testing results and observations clearly to relevant team members.

• Interact with raw material suppliers and support related laboratory activities as needed.

• Perform additional laboratory and product evaluation activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Hands-on laboratory experience in formulation, product testing, chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field.

• Experience with laboratory equipment such as pH meters, viscometers, and batching/formulation equipment is preferred.

• Familiarity with cGMP practices and laboratory documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document and communicate results.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work hands-on with consumer product samples and hair tresses.

• Ability to safely lift and handle bulk laboratory materials.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively in an onsite laboratory environment.

Opportunity Details

This is a hands-on laboratory opportunity supporting the development, stability, and performance evaluation of hair color products within a collaborative consumer products environment.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
